Laser Safety Awareness Training
Course Overview
The ANSI Z136.1 Safe Use of Lasers standard states, “training shall be provided to each employee routinely working with or potentially exposed to Class 3B or Class 4 laser radiation”. This course will cover specular and diffuse reflections, bioeffects, non-beam hazards, laser system classification, and control measures. Train all your laser area personnel at one time so they are on the same page.
Learn about the fundamentals of lasers and optics, laser bioeffects, regulations and standards, non-beam hazards, and laser hazard control measures.
Laser operators, laser area personnel, and anyone who would like to learn more about laser safety.
Each student will receive a course manual that follows the presentation, along with LIA's Laser Safety Guide.
