Femtosecond Laser is a unique tool for micro and nano fabrication. In this paper, we will discuss its application in micro cutting of live cells. It includes the interaction of femtosecond laser and Madin-Darby canine kidney (MDCK) cell, the optimization of cutting parameters such as laser energy and exposure time, the process of the micro cutting of MDCK cell's pseudopod. Furthermore, the cell's living activity of shrinking after cutting is observted and analyzed. The result demonstrates the feasibility of nanosurgery in live cells with femtosecond laser microfabrication technology by selectivity cutting without compromising the activity of the cells.
