The influence of process parameter of laser transmission welding of PVC on welding quality has been studied using method of orthogonal design. The tension and section tests are conducted for experimental samples, and the influence of welding factors on tensile strength and welding seam size is analyzed. The results indicate that the subsequence according to the influence for welding strength is welding speed, average laser power, laser frequency, dwell time, beam diameter, fixture pressure. At last, the optimized welding parameters of PVC are determined using Range Method.
