Since one year Friedhelm Dorsch is Technology Scout at TRUMPF in Ditzingen (Germany). He works for TRUMPF since 2000 in various positions in the field of lasers and laser applications, which were Head of Process Sensor Systems for laser materials processing, Managing Director (Diode Lasers) in Princeton (NJ) where he supervised the development and production of high-power diode lasers, and group leader for laser pump sources in Schramberg (Germany). Before he joint TRUMPF he was with JENOPTIK Laserdiode as project engineer, production manager and technical director. He holds a physics diploma degree of the University of Hamburg. He has chaired several conferences, e.g. for SPIE and LIA.
